I lost interest in baseball decades ago after being a huge Cincinnati Reds fan from childhood. Every time I watch a pitch or two, just for fun, and see how long it takes, I have no regrets. Surprisingly, I really enjoy baseball through OOTP as my fictional league givers me more pleasure than the real thing. Sports, in general, don't seem that important anymore, but that's probably my senior citizen voice talking.
