Aug 1 - Aug 15
After a really encouraging July, we started off the month of August 4-9. The Expos have gone in the opposite direction going 13-1, winning their first 13 games, to over take Pittsburgh for 1st place in the NL East.

Aug 16 - Aug 31
On Aug 23, the excitement continued when John Pacella pitches. This time after recording the last out in a 2-0 shut out win over the Dodgers, Pacella and Dodger Manager Tommy Lasorda had words. Lasorda was not happy with Pacella's celebration after that out. We finished the month a more respectable 7-8 but 11-17 is not a great follow up to 15-13.

August was a pretty uneventful month. No injuries to mention so I stopped tinkering with the roster until the roster expansion in September.
