Yeah in modern mlb universes it gimps the AI too much when simming. Not just your team but other teams as well. They will run the entire bullpen to 0% in a doubleheader. While the player is smart enough to call up 3 AAA guys for the next 3 days the AI isn't.
I was just talking about stamina in another thread even though I think the modern mlb default setting is accurate. I don't actually think the AI can handle it. Especially if you are playing modern mlb and simming. The AI will kill the bullpen even without double headers.
I actually went to a 14 man pitching staff to survive simming months at a time. If not I had to constantly check the bullpen every week to see if carpool moves from AAA had to be performed. Again AI teams can't do it so it just makes the player that much better.
