  • 9/28: Josh Viens (NYP) pulled to within a win of tying the single-season record with his 23rd victory of the year (23-4 2.71). He fanned 10 and allowed 6 hits in a 2-0 win over Dallas.
  • 9/29: 24-year-old Ryan Ruch (BRO) beat Detroit 5-0 allowing 3 hits while striking out 5.
  • 9/30: 2010 PL Rookie of the Year Cameron Mears ended his regular season in style. The 23-year-old fanned 12, walked 1 and gave up just 5 hits in a 2-0 win over Montreal to end his season 18-7 3.43. He tossed 246.2 IP striking out 279 to 53 walks and 231 hits.
  • 9/30: Larry Peet (PRO) who took home POTW last week finished this week in style slamming 3 HR's in a 14-0 win over the Empire.
  • 10/1: Buffalo and Providence both clinch the wild card with final-day victories. We will face the Black Sox in round 1.
