8/6: Sam Rhoads, the pitcher acquired in the deadline deal with Chicago gave up 5 hits, struck out 5 in a 2-0 win over Augusta. He's 1-0 2.12 in 2 Starts since coming over.
8/7: Joe Tighe and Mike Aasen were hurt today. Aasen suffered a sprained knee and will be out 5-6 weeks, Tighe suffered a strained muscle in the abdomen. He'll be out 1-2 weeks. Both will head to the DL and I've finally been 'forced' to call up Sam Reyes. Super utility man Steve Wilkinson will be added to the 40 man as well and recalled. That leaves 1 spot on the 40 man open and also makes me rethink being so hasty to trade Willy Bull.
