I will be really interested to see what the season high for home runs ends up being in this league over time. The NL didn't even sport a 30 home run guy for 1978. The AL leader came in at roughly 31 or 32. How many seasons will I play before I get a 40 home run guy? Will I ever get one?

Now doubles is a whole different matter. A young superstar cat named Fred Lynn set the bar extremely high when it comes to two baggers with 59 in 1978.
