COVID-19 MLB schedule
Here is a schedule that fits the basic parameters of what MLB is proposing when baseball hopefully returns this summer. Teams play only within their geographic alignments (AL East teams play only AL East and NL East teams, for example). 82 game season starting the week of July 4th.
# 30 team schedule, 82 games
# Designed for the following configuration:
# 2 subleagues each with 3 divisions of 5 teams
#
# 5 team divisions
# 13 games against 4 other teams in division (7H/6A) or (6H/7A)
# 6 games against 5 teams in same division of other league (3H/3A)
#
# All games in 3-game and 4-game series
# No homestands or roadtrips longer than 11 games
#
# Game times correspond with day of week and travel schedule
#
# Season starts on the Monday of the week of July 4th
# Season ends late September
# Season spans 91 days
#
# No All-Star break
