The votes have been tabulated for the 2030 American League Cy Young Award. It has been given to Jock Menefee of the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, who piled up 23 wins this season with an impressive 1.84 ERA.
In 33 starts Menefee had a 23-3 mark with 283 strikeouts in 263.2 innings.
He received 148 first place votes out of a possible 174. Preacher Roe of the UTEP Miners finished second in voting with 25 first place votes, while Camilo Pascual of the Baylor Bears finished third.
