Danial Contraras might have had 1 of the best single months in the league's history. 24 extra-base hits and 56 hits in 28 games? Wow. Most players would love to have a season of 3.5 WAR, he just did it in 28 games.
Montreal 1B Josh Sims won the April “Triple Crown”. He's coming off a huge 2010 when he hit .337/.397/.602 38 HR 105 RBI but that was following a .307/.344/.577 46 HR 130 RBI 2009. At 25 it appears he's poised to take home a lot of hardware over the next decade. The Paragons signed him to an 8 year 62.8 million dollar deal this past winter. He has a 2015 opt out.
