It doesn't do anything financially, with the owner, with the city, with the fans, with tickets, concessions etc......... Even if the tool made the most excellent 3D stadiums I would look at it as less then useful if there are no game mechanics supporting it.
And as I have heard the tool will be expanded a little bit each year like the 3D engine I haven't heard anything about stadium game mechanics. It's been a big disappointment for me so far.
I mean if I want stadiums all I have to do is click 1 button on the steam workshop there are hundreds of stadiums there.

Agreed with everything you said, except I don't want to use other people's stadiums. I set up a fictional league and every team has a fictional stadium. I named the teams and made the logos. (OK, I stole many of them from elsewhere.) I named the stadiums. I designed the uniforms. I wanted to build them too. My world is smaller stadiums (like minor league or independent league size. I wanted to build my own with unique footprints so that when I played; the 3D engine was more immersive.
I guess I will have to use a third party stadium builder program instead. So, yes its been a big disappointment for me too. Again, as I said in the OP, the YT preview video included showing this feature and it doing alot more than it does.
