Klein Raps 400th Roundtripper:
It's official. Chuck Klein of the Tennessee Volunteers hit his 400th home run tonight.
The Tennessee Volunteers took on the Old Dominion Monarchs and downed them 3-2, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Klein. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.
"400 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Volunteers puzzle."
The Volunteers right fielder went 1-for-4 with 1 home run and 1 RBI as the Tennessee Volunteers topped the Old Dominion Monarchs.
His career numbers show Klein has batted .308 and collected 1315 hits, 400 home runs and 972 RBIs.
