Only played three games so far.

Yes, the animation is better... smoother... fielders are smoother making the plays... foul balls might be more realistic in look...player movement has improved... relay throws seem to be improved... .. but still has a good way to go... a guy hit a double... the ball went through the right field wall like a ghost.... and the center fielder and right fielder... perhaps they were "ghost players up from minors"... ran through wall and were last seen chasing the ball way beyond the fence.

I think Markus has finally perfected the "ghost player" code... these ghost players were the real McCoys.

Come to think of it... as kids in the sandlot, most of the time we only had one ball to play with... it it went into the woods, we had to go get it... maybe OOTP only plays with one ball.
We had it tough in the olden days... we couldn't walk through the fences to retrieve the ball... we had to go over the fence... or around the fence.

Bottom LIne: I'm still going to really enjoy the animation in OOTP21... the game usually gets better with each version and each patch... I'm on version 18 or 19... still playin' it and lovin' it... and it's still getting better.
