This is a very fair point if we use common sense to look at it. We are adding extra stuff so take extra time to check all settings.
But there is a wizard for adding all of the int leagues when creating the universe and they all are setup for the player out of the box. And there is no way for new players or players that never tried them before to know that there could be a bunch of tweaks or settings that need to be changed.
And there really is only 3 important leagues. Japan, China and Korea. With China being borderline but I'll throw it in anyway.
They could use a revisit and make sure they are better out of the box. Example the posting system in ootp needs a complete overhaul. Mlb uses % based in contract and signing bonus now. Not a flat number.
Its just mechanics get in the game then 5 years goes by and they weren't looked at again unless someone discovers a huge bug or the majority of people start complaining about the same exact issue.
I obviously love the game. But it is frustrating year to year because so much stats exactly the same. And the current gm experience is void of life, energy and fun. Gm experience plays the same way since at least ootp 18. Its just disappointing and frustrating.
