2029 College World Series to Oklahoma:
The Oklahoma Sooners pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the College World Series in a hard-fought series with the UCLA Bruins.
It was a seesaw affair, but with a 8-4 victory at Jackie Robinson Stadium, Oklahoma lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship.
"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Levi Meyerle. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
The champs finished the regular season 99-63 and claimed 4th place in the American League Big XII.
A victory parade is set to be schedule in Oklahoma in the days to come.
