It was announced today that the Denver Brewers reached agreement with closer Tim Shore on a 1-year extension which will keep him in the Brewers bullpen for next season at the same pay rate he currently earns.
Rumors are that there was little negotiation at all as the two parties were almost in lockstep agreement from the start as to what was fair and preferable.
Brewers fans were reportedly quite pleased, although admittedly fan support was already pretty much off the charts.
