Speaking of Orval Overall, I signed him as a free agent the year I was GM of the 1911 Phillies and I think he won 16 games or thereabouts for me. Not to shabby for someone who was supposed to be washed up. I'm sure he had a good influence on rookie Grover Alexander too.
