I added 4 teams to my major league in the off-season. Fast forward to about a month before the season starts. I was able to import a new schedule for my major league, but one of my minor leagues, which I also added 4 teams to, cannot create a schedule. If I click "Import From File" I get the message: Schedules can only be imported during pre-season

The problem is that it IS the pre-season! And there are no games on the schedule. You can see from the screenshot that the pre-season started yesterday. However, top-left-center I see that it says off-season? Huh?

EDIT: Found a work-around by going into the event list, editing the date of the pre-season to a day later and then simulating one day. Then I was able to edit the schedule. Still doesn't make sense to me though.
