Carl Crawford of the Clemson Tigers extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with 1 hit in today's 9-7 triumph over the North Alabama Lions at Mike D. Lane Field.
"Carl has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Tigers manager Mitch Sandridge joked after the game.
Carl Crawford struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a sac fly in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and grounded out in the 10th.
This season Crawford is batting .351 with 16 home runs. He has scored 50 runs and driven in 34.
