It's not the first time that Philly's superstar second baseman Xiao-mei Mah has been named the SJL Batter of the Month (actually, it's the 4th time) and it likely won't be the last. At age 30, the smart and hard working pride of Taiwan is one of the best in the business.

Even in a year when the long ball is ascendant, Devin Schwisow's 11 in just 82 plate appearances is a pretty eye-popping number. Too bad his team is horrible and that his reputation for laziness and fragility have led the Phoenix front office to put him on the trading block. But at least he can brag that he was the best batter in the MGL in the month of April 1977.
