Louisville Sweeps into the College World Series:
The Louisville Cardinals made it look easy and are heading to the College World Series.
They have ousted the Virginia Tech Hokies in a sweep, the final win coming by a 5-0 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Josh Hamilton, who was named MVP for the series.
Hamilton hit .385 with a .385 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Louisville Cardinals don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Gonzaga Bulldogs - Florida Gators series. That series is tied at 1 game apiece. The College World Series schedule will be announced after the Semifinals finishes.
