Bobcats Advance to Regionals:
It was a sweet sweep for the Montana State Bobcats as they eased past the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors to advance to the Regionals.
Montana State won the final game by a 9-1 count and the series 2-0.
"We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Davy Force, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Force hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 0 runs.
The Montana State Bobcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Vanderbilt Commodores - Fresno State Bulldogs series. Fresno State leads the series 1 games to 0. The Regionals schedule will be announced after the Wildcard finishes.
