Number 300 for Trosky Sr:
Buffaloes first baseman Hal Trosky Sr reached a career milestone yesterday, blasting home run number 300.
He took the achievement in stride. "It's always good to get another home run and even better to get another win," Trosky Sr told reporters in the postgame interview.
He went 1-for-3 during the Colorado 3-2 triumph over the East Carolina Pirates and scored 1 run with 1 run batted in.
For his career Trosky Sr has batted .304 and hit 300 home runs.
