  • What constitutes a dynasty? How long or what attributes?
  • I feel comfortable saying 5 straight World Series appearances is a decent start.
  • The Long Beach Titans defeated the Memphis Kings 4 games to 1 to win their 4th world series title and third straight. Both of those are league records.
  • Titan CF Alex Mercado went 8-18 2 HR 7 RBI to take home series MVP honors.
  • 24-year-old Stars 2B Mauricio Castillo set a new record by hitting .394 to win the Continental league batting title (and the MVP) and the Chicago Skyhawks saw Osjami Hernandez win the FL title at .363, followed by teammate Alex Vigil's .355. Hernandez also won the RBI title with 129.
  • Ft Worth's Dan Srp took home the second ever Pitching Triple Crown going 20-10 2.79 with 259 K's.
  • Seattle went 67-95 in their inaugural season and Las Vegas was 56-106.
  • Oklahoma City and San Antonio had to play a 163rd game after ending the season tied and the Bison beat the Stars forcing them to meet up with the #1 seeded Seraphs.
  • On July 13th the Bisons and Panthers met in San Diego and would play the longest game in IBL history.
  • The Panthers would walk it off in the bottom of the 21st to win the game 2-1 when left fielder Justin Coleman singled into the hole. The single was also his 7th hit of the game as he went 7-8 with 1 RBI and the first player ever to get 7 hits in a game of any length. His 7 hits featured 2 2B's a 3B and 4 singles. He also walked once and struck out once.
  • (First time in OOTP I've ever had a player get 7 hits)
  • Stars 25-year-old CF Bob Winer became just the 2nd IBL player to drive in 150+ runs in a season breaking Brock Vasher's record of 150. The Rookie of the Year hit .331/.399/.623 with 40 HR's and 152 RBI's.
  • 2014 Milestones:
  • Vasher and Staten Islands Gary Butreaux hit their 500th HR's
  • Branden Simmons hit his 600th for Arizona
  • Seraphs closer Chris Wright saved his 500th.
