- Changing all settings to 2001, financials, and stats and keeping them locked for the future.
- I will be taking over the team with the 1st overall pick in the 2020 draft.
- The Long Beach Titans made it to their 4th World Series in 13 years and won their 2nd in the past 3 years by beating 2-time winner San Diego 4-0.
- It was the 2nd straight year both #1 seeds won their respective league titles.
- 3B Edwin Rodrigues went 8-16 2 HR 3 RBI to win WS MVP
- Bart Lampe (PIT) .368 and Manny Fernandez (SAN) .345 won the batting titles
- Dicky Octaviano (AZ) led the IBL with 42 HR's and Diederick Venhuizen (BOS) won the FL title with 41
- Dan Srp (FW) 255 and Kevin Deeb (POR) 231 were the K leaders.
- Lampe also became just the 4th hitter ever to get 6 hits in a 9 inning game when he went 6-6 in a 14-8 win over Dallas.
- Francisco Mejia of Albuquerque tossed the years only no-hitter in beating Toledo on April 21st
- 2012 Milestones:
- Wilbren Meurs struck out his 3500th hitter
- Pedro Cedeno (SD) saved his 400th
- Dalton Shepherd (LAN) Jason Fisher (PIT) and Diederick Venhuizen (BOS) all hit their 400th HR's.
- Shane Wright (TOL) joined the 3000 strike out club
- Dallas's Pedro Alonso hit .258/.411/.559 with 28 HR's to win the FL MVP
- Wilbren Meurs added yet another Koufax to his Hall of Fame shelf winning his 7th by going 21-7 2.79
- Denver's Brock Taets hit .375 with 10 HR to win FL Rookie of the Year
- For the 4th straight year it was a new address (DEN) but the same guy winning the Mariano Rivera as Eddie Sadewasser took home his 9th with a 5-4 45 SV 1.19 year
- Lancaster's Brock Vasher won his 2nd Babe Ruth award hitting .318 with 33 HR's
- Cowboys starter Chris Osterbrink made it two years in a row for a Ft Worth pitcher as he went 16-8 2.58 to win his 1st Koufax
- Rattler rookie Carlos Gonzalez hit .298/.379/.477 with 23 HR's to become the 4th Arizona rookie to take home the Jackie Robinson award
- San Diego's David Thomas went 15-5 5 SV 1.94 to win the Mariano Rivera Award.
