- The Pittsburgh Bulldogs took home their 2nd consecutive World Series win and 3rd overall beating the Los Angeles Seraphs in a 4 game sweep.
- LA got there with a stunning 1st round win over top seed Arizona.
- Bulldog LF Jason Fisher took home the Series MVP honors.
- Ricky Garcia (PIT) .318 and Branden Simmons (AZ) .323 won their respective batting titles while Jerry Cox (BOS) 47 and Adrian Hine (SAN) and Simmons tied for the CL title at 50, 1 more than Staten Island Yankee Jorge Palacios.
- No 20 game-winners this year and just Oscar Reyes (CHI) checking into the 300 K club with 305.
- Josh Hill of Sacramento, Jose Mora of Austin, and Adam Sutton of Lancaster all tossed no-hitters this year with Mora no-hitting OKC on June 18th and Sutton no-hitting them 2 months later.
- In the Frontier League, Denver's John Lechuga hit .310/.362/.517 with 23 HR's to win his 1st MVP award
- His teammate Arnout van der Ploeg won his 1st Koufax going 15-111 2.45
- Toledo LF Will Lyles hit 19 HR's on his way to Rookie of the Year honors
- Pittsburgh closer Eddie Sadewasser took home his 3rd Rivera Award going 1-2 55 Saves with a 0.39 ERA.
- His career ERA over 436 games and 546 innings pitched is 1.12.
- Dallas signed 1B Dalton Shepherd prior to the year and he won his 5th gold glove.
- Denver catcher Gerard Tylor won his 3rd straight gold glove and 4th overall.
- In the Continental, Arizona's Branden Simmons won his 2nd straight Babe Ruth Award hitting .323/.391/.664 with 59 homers.
- Teammate Willie Ceniceros won the Koufax going 16-10 2.66
- A third Rattler also took home more hardware. Reliever Aurelien Vautier won his 3rd Rivera award after an 8-1 47 Save 0.63 ERA season
- Staten Island rookie Jorge Palacios had one of the best rookie campaigns ever hitting .281/.380/.640 with 50 HR's. He finished less than 10 votes behind Simmons in the MVP voting.
- 25-year-old Indianapolis Racer Catcher Giovany Lamotta won his 5th straight silver slugger and 6th overall. 2B Tim Wotten (AZ) and SS Danny Gonzalez (LAN) both took home their 6th silver sluggers as well.
