PELS WIN 10TH STRAIGHT IN SIFL
The redhot Labadieville Pelicans posted their 10th straight triumph and 14th in 18 games this season... the first place Pelicans trounced last place Bar Harbor 6-1 in South Island First League action yesterday... they are far and away the top team in the league, four games better than second place Des Allemands (10-8)... the Eagles climbed up into the second spot in the standings by crushing the Claiborne Cardinals 12-5... while fifth place Mystic outslugged Opelousas 10-8.
