Indians 3, Tigers 2. Zach Plesac went to 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA by holding the Tigers to one run in 6 1/3 innings. He overcame the first two home runs of the season for Miguel Cabrera. Franmil Reyes had three hits for Cleveland.

Rangers 8, White Sox 2. Nick Solak had four hits, including a home run, as the Rangers topped the White Sox. Kyle Gibson allowed two runs over 7 2/3 innings, and Danny Santana provided a three-run homer for Texas.

Mariners 6, Athletics 4. Seattle mounted a late-inning comeback against Oakland, as Kyle Higashioka tied the score with a two-run double in the eighth and Carlos Gonzalez drove in the go-ahead run with a sac fly. Kyle Seager and Daniel Vogelbach both homered for Seattle. Matt Harvey, recently picked up by the Mariners, got the win.

Reds 3, Giants 0. Sonny Gray dominated over eight innings, striking out twelve and holding the Giants scoreless. Eugenio Suarez, Derek Dietrich and Mike Moustakas each hit solo home runs, and Raisel Iglesias closed things out for his fifth save.

Brewers 6, Phillies 4. Brock Holt was three for four with a home run as Milwaukee beat Philadelphia. Jake Arrieta was knocked around again and saw his ERA rise to 9.00. Justin Smoak also had three hits for the Brewers.

Diamondbacks 6, Pirates 5 (12 innings). Stephen Vogt tied the score with a ninth-inning double against Nick Burdi. Three innings later, Carson Kelly hit a walk-off single against Ervin Santana. Neither starter pitched well, but the Diamondbacks' bullpen threw five scoreless innings.

Rockies 4, Padres 3. David Dahl's two-run homer in the eighth inning put the Rockies in front. Jairo Diaz made things interesting in the ninth inning, loading the bases before getting Jurickson Profar on a fly out to end the game.

Nationals 6, Cubs 4. Kurt Suzuki hit a grand slam in the second inning to put the Nationals ahead early. Asdrubal Cabrera had three hits to raise his average to .349. Anibal Sanchez pitched six scoreless innings to get the win.

Mets 7, Braves 0. Marcus Stroman was spectacular, pitching a four-hit shutout and striking out fourteen against just one walk. The Braves fell to 7-14 on the season. Michael Conforto and Pete Alonso homered for New York.

Dodgers 5, Cardinals 3. Max Muncy was three for three with a home run for the Dodgers. Walker Buehler went seven innings for the Dodgers, allowing three unearned runs and striking out nine. Edmundo Sosa had a three-run home run for the Cardinals.
