MY LIFE IN 1952
EC's Just Havin' Fun in '52, Too!
Checking out the Billboard country and pop charts for the week of June 30, 1952... On the country side of the tracks, Hank Thompson is still holding on tightly to the number one spot with a great song, "The Wild Side of Life"... Hank has been there for the last seven weeks.
In the pop world Leroy Anderson and his orchestra just finished a 5-week run in the top spot with "Blue Tango"... taking his place this week with a great love ballad is Al Martino with "Here in My Heart".
