Baylor Sweeps into the Super Regionals:
The Baylor Bears have beaten the Cal Poly Mustangs in the Regionals, despite a strong performance from Mustangs left fielder Ty Cobb.
Cobb was given MVP honors for his performance even though his team came out on the losing end of the series.
"It's a good news, bad news thing I guess," he said. "Unfortunately the bad news is really bad -- our season is over."
Baylor won the final game by a score of 5-2 at Baylor Ballpark and took the series 2-0.
The Baylor Bears will play against the Florida Gators in the next round. Florida won their series against the Georgia Bulldogs 2 games to 0. The Super Regionals schedule will be announced after the Regionals finishes.
