NL Best Mound Performer Named:
The National League announced today that Brian Clark has been chosen the Cy Young Award winner for 2025. The USC starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 19-6 record.
In his award-winning season Clark crafted a 2.00 ERA in 243.1 innings with 278 strikeouts and 40 walks. Opposing batters hit .183 against him in his 33 starts.
He received 125 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dutch H Leonard of the Providence Friars finished second in voting, while Mike Trueblood of the NC State Wolfpack finished third.
