Best Rookie Trophy Presented to Trosky Sr:
League officials announced today that Hal Trosky Sr of the Colorado Buffaloes has been selected the 2025 Rookie of the Year Award in the National League.
The talented first baseman finished his first year batting .311 with 88 home runs, 168 RBIs and 160 runs scored.
He received 125 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dave Bancroft of the Washington Huskies finished second in voting, while John Knight of the Temple Owls finished third.
