Have patience.
If you've assembled what you believe is a good team, hang in there. The teams are so close in ability, particularly at the lower levels, that it can be disheartening. My Port Ruppert team went two solid days, more than 30 tourneys per day with only the odd 200 prize to show. Last night, when I knocked off, I dropped them into a final 32-game iron. I noticed they were still playing the daily iron, but I was tired and didn't check. This morning I found they had won 4 packs for the 32, and 8 for second place in the daily (after being up, 3-2, in the final.
My advice is hang in there. When they're running cold, make the occasional check to see that the line-ups haven't got messed up (which happens on rare occasions) and that they're not always getting blown out in the first round. If they're making a decent show most of the time, stay with the roster, if you like what you've built. If you must tinker because it's fun for you, then tinker away and enjoy. Just remember, when the talent level is this/close, today's two days, 200 PP, can become tomorrow morning's 12-pack surprise.
