Dahn Terrific, Takes NL Most Valuable Player Award:
Chris Dahn took NCAA by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24.
For his spectacular campaign, the Dallas Baptist Patriots star has been named the 2022 National League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman.
On the season he compiled a .322 batting average to go with a .412 on-base percentage. The native of The United States also added 26 doubles, 1 triple, 63 home runs, 125 RBIs and 114 runs scored.
He received 55 first place votes out of a possible 119. Jose Arellano of the Dallas Baptist Patriots finished second in voting with 45 first place votes, while Zachary Moretti of the Oregon State Beavers finished third with 16 first place votes.
