End of the Regular Season

The Paris Artists finished with the best overall record in the French Baseball League, winning 96 and losing 42. On their way to their all time best win total, Julien Henri had a stellar season. He reached 20 homers for the first time, led the league with 91 RBI's, and almost overtook Laurant Mercier for the batting title, closing within a couple of points in the final week.

On the mound, Julien had his all time lowest WHIP, 0.96. He was struggling with a less than .500 mark for the first third of the season, and then he hit the gas and there was little batters could do against him.

Henri notched 6.3 WAR while on the mound. For the first time his batter WAR of 6.8 topped his pitching. All told, 13.1 WAR is an amazing stat. I'm going to guess that he will never top these collective numbers, again. But, would not be surprised if he did.

Fares Pere, in his first full season, hit the coveted 30 HR mark going yard on Sept. 1, second from the last day of the season.

As noted above, Mercier, 3x MVP, led the league in batting.

Herve Villiard, with 22 wins, led the league in that category. This was the first season Herve won more than he lost.

For the 6th year in a row Cole Burke led the league in K's, with 216.

Richard Maze, of Anse d'Arlet, let the league in ERA with a 2.07 mark, edging out the K King by .01.
