1906 was the year that the baseball universe shifted to Chicago as both the White Sox and Cubs faced off in the World Series with the White Sox winning the title in 6. While our replays did feature the Cubs the real life World Champs did not factor at all into either simulation.
In the no injury portion it was the real life 3rd place Cleveland Naps that led the way for most of the season. The Cubs caught fire late and caught he Naps going into the last day of the season. While the Cubs beat the Reds 2-1 the Naps lost to the White Sox (so I guess they did play a factor after all

) by the same score of 2-1. With the Cubs winning the no injury portion I felt it was safe to assume that the Naps anomaly was over. I was wrong. With injuries enabled the Naps stayed relatively healthy and easily ran away with the title. This was a fun replay to watch.
