Let me clarify what I meant by randomness. If you keep recalcing, I think, all categories will come up a little different each time. I think that is what happened to your middle section though, of course, I have no idea how much your numbers are changing. If I saw the actual numbers I might change my mind.
As to the 1.000 for LTMs and what they are or are not. I have never thought the 1.000 is equivalent to anything. It is just there to adjust the engine to produce whatever league totals one puts in, whether MLB or made up for fictional. What they end up being is determined by how the ratings are in your league.
My balks are approx .550 while my wild pitches are approx 1.165. Neither number surprises me in the least. They are what they are to produce the "correct" number within a certain range. Your modifiers may be different than mine because your players are rated different than the players in my game.
I guess the only way to know would be to make a backup and then run a test season and see what the results are?
