A few records on offense fell this year -
The longest-standing record to fall was most runs in a year. Salvador Feliciano crossed the plate 149 times, three more than Johan Velez in 1931.
Vern Yepsen took 164 free passes, 8 more than Sean Burks in 1950.
Woody Shaw set the new mark for slugging percentage, beating out Aaron Purves and Benjamin Aguirre from the last few years.
