2 questions about stats
REVISED -- NEW FINDING
In the first question about stats I had below, it pertained to why I might be seeing save opportunities not always equaling saves + blown saves, as it should. I just discovered why. In 100% of the cases where I found the number of save opportunities not jibing with saves & blown saves, those players all had a 3+ inning save during the season. Essentially, they were given an extra save opportunity when their save was 3 innings or more. Unless there is a valid reason for this, I presume this is an error and something that needs to be addressed in OOTP21.

1) I have noticed when adding saves + blow saves for some pitchers, the total does not always equal the same number as save opportunities. I figured one reason might be because the pitcher did not record an out in one or more of his appearances. Would that be correct, and are there any other possible reasons these sometimes do not add up?
2) I understand JAWS to be the average of a player's career WAR and his 7-year peak WAR. However, when calculating those numbers, seldom do I get them to match what OOTP shows as a player's JAWS. Since OOTP does not show JAWS for every player who has retired in my game, how would I go about correctly calculating this for both hitters and pitchers.
Thanks.
