Go to a site like dafont dot com, for example. They may have basic instructions on how to download and install the fonts you might want to acquire. Several free font sites do have script fonts you can often grab without having to pay for them and may allow commercial use for them at times. Even if you can only use MS Paint, for example, you might be able to come up with better graphics. You may periodically have to go pixel-by-pixel in places. But if you have a general idea, at least, of how you may want things to look, you might be surprised what you might come up with.
For my Kaneva-related shop items, I periodically had to do that, in truth. Sure, my items may not have looked like a lot of other people's items, but they were certainly unique and original. And a good number of those who I often associated with in Kaneva seemed to often like them a good deal, if not a lot, if memory serves.
