Eddie Kasko's 1970 Topps card (I believe) is from his playing days for several reasons:
- He is holding a bat with a #2 on the knob. Kasko wore #2 as a player; he wore #30 as a manager.
- Kasko was named manager in October, 1969. This shot appears to be in a ML ballpark (Old Yankee Stadium?). That means that the shot would have had to be taken VERY early in the season...
- The card is #489...which makes it a series 4 card...not one of the last two series, meaning it was an earlier release date.
- Topps during this era had a tendency to use photos from earlier years.
