GATORS, DIAMONDS, RACCOONS, BLACK SOX TOP RU
In Ruthlandian Union play the first month of the 2063 Islandian Pro Alliance season, the contenders are doing well and a few lesser lights may be playing over their heads... the LaGrange Gators jumped out into the lead in the Ruthlandian North, the Claxton Diamonds head up the Ruthlandian South, the Cold Creek Raccoons are sitting atop of the Ruthlandian East and the Colfax Black Sox took the early lead in the Ruthlandian West... only the Raccoons raised any eyebrows... the other three leaders were forecast to be contenders.
Several other unlikely challengers made a little noise in April... The Taranto Tars are tied for second in the RU North... the Crystal Lake Skippers are third in the RU South... and the Stoner Stars are running second in the RU West... Cold Creek, Taranto, Crystal Lake and Stoner were not highly touted in the preseason polls... there were several well-rated teams that started off the year slowly... in the RU North, Kilkenny and Glasgo had poor months... Grand City slumped in the RU South... and Volusia had a bad first month of play in the RU West.
