This just isn't true. I just imported Claro Duany (Negro Leaguer: duanycl00), and Kazuyuki Takahashi (Japanese Leaguer: takahka94) from the Spritze database into a draft in my OOTPXX league. All their stats came in. Everything looked fine to my admittedly unedu-mah-cated eyes.
EDIT: This is a good thing because this is an awesome database, which allows us to bring in players that wouldn't be able to appear in our games without it.
