It's not surprising but I too am saddened. Still, take hyper-competitive Type A personalities, shower them with huge sums of money with the promise of tons more and then drop them in a society that often prizes victory at all costs and I start to feel it's amazing that some of them don't cheat.
I don't have an answer but it does hurt to watch.
