That last post was a whole block o' text, so let's see if I can break this up a bit more.
Huntley will face the Las Vegas War Pigs (95-67, +106 RDiff, 753 RS, 647 RA) in the Division Series. Through an odd quirk in the schedule, 9 of the 19 regular-season clashes between these divisional foes took place in September/October. Judging by Huntley's recent slow starts in the Division Series, the fact that Huntley won all 9 games will surely be a completely inaccurate omen.
Lefty Grove (13-6, 2.84 ERA, 3.23 FIP, 6.2 WAR) and Record Breaker 100 Pedro Martinez (17-10, 3.72 ERA, 3.47 FIP, 5.3 WAR) head the rotation, and Lee Smith (31 SV, 3.40 ERA, 2.83 FIP, 2.5 WAR), set up by 96 Kirby Yates (21 HLD, 3.70 ERA, 4.16 FIP, 0.5 WAR) and 96 Mariano Rivera (11 HLD, 3.06 ERA, 4.14 FIP, 0.4 WAR), anchors the bullpen.
The War Pigs' offense is led by outfield trio LF Barry Bonds (.273/.378/.517, 36 HR, 143 OPS+, 4.7 WAR), CF Live Mike Trout (.225/.341/.399, 27 HR, 103 OPS+, 3.6 WAR), and RF Hank Aaron (.264/.348/.460, 28 HR, 120 OPS+, 2.4 WAR).
Meanwhile, drawing the unenviable task of trying to take down RealMadrid are the Ann Arbor Awardwolves (88-74, +29 RDiff, 686 RS, 657 RA). Ben Sheets (13-14, 3.52 ERA, 3.48 FIP, 125 ERA+, 5.7 WAR) and Bret Saberhagen (17-12, 3.78 ERA, 3.53 FIP, 116 ERA+, 5.1 WAR) head the rotation, with 99 SE Rickey Henderson (.257/.347/.389, 102 OPS+, 2.48 RF, +11.0 ZR, 1.064 EFF, 3.8 WAR) and Amos Otis (.268/.313/.427, 100 OPS+, 2.28 RF, +15.6 ZR, 1.107 EFF, 3.4 WAR) are the standouts in the lineup per WAR.
