Walkers news: July 20 -- Green Bay 4, St. Louis 3, Game 2
Record: 59-34, 1st, 9 GA Kansas City
Down 2-0,Green Bay tied it with a pair of runs in the top of the fifth inning and took the lead for good an inning later as the Long Haulers down the River Walkers 4-3 in the second game of a doubleheader at Busch Stadium (1997).
The victory allowed Green Bay to take two of three games in the weekend series.
Trailing 2-0, the Haulers tied it in the top of the fifth.
Andrew Lee and Anthony Rendon opened the inning with back-to-back doubles off River Walkers starting pitcher Hunter Barco.
Ozzie Albies drove in Lee with a run which made it 2-1.
Mike Trout followed with a single, scoring Rendon.
The Haulers took the lead in the sixth,
Austin Hedges led off with a single and Ryan Zeferjahn's bunt planted him at second.
John Curtiss came on to face Rendon, but it didn't work out.
Rendon singled into left field to put Green Bay in the lead 3-2.
Bobby Bradley used the long ball, banging a 0-2 pitch from John Curitts, to score Bradley and make it 4-2.
