What's up with 'The Streak'.

Not really blocked so much as not quite ready for the bigs. Not that he couldn't play in the WPK right now, but I would like to see his contact and avoid K ratings get just a bit more of a boost. And maybe more relevant is that he can only play second and first and he is blocked at first by Bobby Erbakan. If I bring him up to play second then someone has to exit the roster and both Joe Willemse and Oscar Vargas provide me with positional flexibility and great defense at several positions.
But I'd say that Taranto will be up on September 1st, if not before, and likely will have a spot on next year's roster, with Vargas almost surely gone as a free agent.
I'll have to check in on his hit streak tonight but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen any news reports about it ending (only a few days have passed since he hit 20 in a row) so I assume it's still going.
EDIT: Oh, hey, I just noticed the question about Ruben "Streak" Souffront. I'll post more later about this, but last I knew he was playing regularly but not particularly well. Which makes me wonder about Pat Rondeau too. I can't say I've seen his name lately. Anyway, more about Ruben tonight when I'm in front of the game.
