Little known 25-year old Philadelphia starting pitcher A.J. Allen might be just a bit better known now after having a wonderful July that earned him SJL Pitcher of the Month honors.

In the MGL, Oklahoma City's Ben Bakeman earned the distinction. Bakeman led the league in saves last year (30) and at age 26 is well on his way to being considered the best closer in the MGL.
