You're absolutely right.
There are many ways to go about things. And just become some are untraditional, is no reason to frown upon them.
I just hope someone non-traditionally doesn't start using your identity and running up bills on you because they sought a way outside the normal system to make a living. Because, you know, that wouldn't be very fair, would it?
