Here comes the fun: the 103-59 Raccoons will play the 77-85 Volcanoes in the Wild Card Bonanza... and they also lost the season finale to the division-clinching Pittsburgh Red Sox, 27-1. Yikes. Dick Bartell, Roberto Clemente, and George Springer all got to pitch in a rout-in-progress, and amounted to 2.2 innings, 11 walks, and 11 runs.
I expect NOTHING.
Except doom and pain of course.
The Rebs, relegated from Perfect, almost managed to get relegated to Gold. They ended up 71-91, last team above the cutoff point. There was nothing to love here, all year long...
KC did only one game better, 72-90, avoiding relegation by six games. The offense was a year-long disaster; only Freddie Freeman managed to qualify while putting up an OPS+ better than 100. Since most of these players have an established track record I dare proclaim that this was an aberration; they just all took an off year at the same time.

... everything will be better next year! ... surely...
