The Raccoons finally had a losing streak greater than 1 (that's 74 games without a losing streak of 2 or more) when the 2nd place team swept them in 3. Because of this major slump, I decided it was time to take action so I added perfect Pedro. Someone was selling him for only a little over 200k which is all I had saved up so it worked out perfectly.

We've got a series coming up with the Flatbush Dukes (.813 WPct) which should be interesting. Schilling will pitch in this series which will endanger his perfect 17-0 record (he's had only 1 no-decision). We'll also have Pedro available for that series so that should help too. The addition of Pedro will be especially helpful in the post-season of course, though we've been doing pretty well there for a while now (we've won 7 WS in the last 15 seasons - we won only 1 in our first 12 seasons in perfect).
